“Enjoyable bolt-hole near to lovely towns”
Reviewed 14 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Lovely little collection of three cottages surrounded by vineyards near Avignon. There are two slightly larger ones (still one bedroom I think) and the smaller one, which we had.
You have a small living area with kitchen (stove, oven, utensils etc.) and sofa - outside a small table and chairs, and BBQ.
Upstairs a good sized double bedroom (large double bed), draws and closet, and a nice toilet/shower room.
We did not use the pool for our stay - another guest did (unheated). Would be lovely I'm sure if warmer in the height of summer.
It is ideal if you want to be outside of a town (car essential). We travelled with a six month old, so wanted a place that was quiet at night and had the option of self-catering in the evening.
We met some pleasant fellow guests during or stay, which was a bonus.
We would stay again, perhaps in one of the bigger cottages.

“Wish I could have spent all summer here!”
Reviewed 5 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Such an amazing spot. You feel like you are in the country (which you are) yet you are incredibly close to
Avignon and an easy drive to many other sights nearby. We spent a three week honeymoon In france traveling all around and this place was the highlight of the trip. Everyday we looked forward to lounging at the amazing pool then bbq ing our dinner on the patio. Truly a special spot. I would love to come back and stay longer. The only negative was there were a lot of Mosquitos and mosquitos seem to love me- but that was the only downside. So worth it though- can't wait to come back if I make it to france again.

“A lovely cottage, excellently located to visit Avignon and its environs”
Reviewed 29 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Cottage Ciboulette is a lovely cottage, well maintained and presented. The bedroom and bathroom had everything one could want, including a very comfortable, very large bed.
The wine and beer awaiting us on arrival were a nice touch.
It seems from other reviews that we were not the first people to have had a problem with the key handover on arrival, which was a pity because the local management arrangements were otherwise very good.
Information at the cottage giving us ideas of where to visit, and where to eat and shop locally, was very useful - clearly a lot of thought had been put into ways to make visitors' stay as enjoyable as possible.

“Lovely week away”

We spent a week in Cottage Ciboulette at the beginning of September and were impressed straight away. The cottage is petite but had absolutely everything we needed as a couple self catering. It has been decorated to a very high standard inside and out and suits the setting perfectly which is beautiful amongst vineyards. It felt like we were away from everything, but close enough to some really nice attractions like Avingon, Pont du Gard and Chateau Neuf du Pape. All the intructions from Heather were really easy and helpful, and it was a nice touch to have a bottle of local wine in the fridge on arrival! We now have very fond memories of the week spent here and wouldn't hesitate to book again, perhaps next year!

“Wonderful, relaxing accommodation in middle of a vineyard!”

My husband and I stayed at Maison des Vignes for a week in May and enjoyed it immensely. The accommodation was well-appointed and provided everything that one would need for an extended stay. The wine provided as a welcome was a lovely touch. Dealing with Heather (the owner) long distance was not cumbersome and the information she provided about the gite and places to visit and area restaurants was very comprehensive. The pool, although it was too chilly to use at that time, was nice to look at. Having access to a washing machine was most welcome after traveling elsewhere for the week or so before. The bathroom was a delight and the bed was most comfortable. As others have said, the wifi only really worked out on the patio the closer to the main house, the better! We liked the fact that we were behind a gate that could only be opened by us (or other guests had there been any). Parking within the property was ample. The location is quite close to Avignon and other points of interest in Provence. The only possible drawback would depend on how much traffic would bother you as the national road is quite close even though you are on a very rural road. We liked the tiny town of Saze for wine and patisserie and small grocery too. Follow Heather's directions carefully as they are essential in finding the place! We were given Jannine's phone number in case we got lost, but were able to navigate without calling her. She was helpful in finding our way around and in recommending a restaurant for our last night.
