The staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was very clean. Is the perfect place to spend holidays. The kitchenette was well provided! This place is located nearby the Marine! A lot of nice and pleasant places to have a meal! Naval Museum and an Aquarium are nearby! There is a covered swimming pool!

Very close to the centre of the old port of La Rochelle. But... getting there by car is a nightmare with loads of roads "barre".
Car parking is an additional 9 euros and the entrance is so steep it smashed my tow bar bike carrier as the car levelled out.
Breakfast is too expensive. Wifi does not work!! I tried everything but it wouldn't work and the receptionist had closed up and gone so I couldn't ask for help. Our room was a long long way from reception and required the use of two separate lifts to get there with our suitcases. No air con so passed out with the heat.
Small but functional room. Telly was all in French and wasn't a smart telly so couldn't connect to the internet.
Was overcharged for an extra person for local taxes!! Will ask for a refund tomorrow and for the cost of repair to my bike carrier but am not holding out much chance of success.
Our little one enjoyed the swimming pool

We spent a week in this hotel and although very basic, was handy for town. At the end of the road one can take a shuttle-boat to the old harbour, very quick and runs until 10pm until the end of May and until midnight from June 1st until october. It does pause at lunchtime.
The room was spacious with a kitchenette, which we only used for breakfast. The room and bathroom was cleaned daily.
There is a swimming pool and fitness area in the hotel, but we didnt use it. there is also an underground car-park, be careful, it is a very steep entrance.

The only thing we complained about was no air-conditioning, we hit a hot period.

Sitting here looking at an ancient sofa bed. The bedding was on it when it was unfolded. There was dirt on the top of the duvet. Hairs on the bottom sheet. Yuk.
The bedding doesn't smell freshly laundered and has certainly been used. Disgusting. No way can we sleep in that bed! Horrified.

We stayed from 16th to 20th August for 4 nights.
We booked thinking it would be an apartment with a separate bedroom but it wasn't - there was a double bed and a bed settee which we had to pull out every night ( not the easiest thing to do) for our daughter. It was very tight for space for the 3 of us and very hot in the apartment.
However - it is ideally situated to get into La Rochelle and for Minimes Beach . It was also spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our mini break.
