Lovely hotel with very nice bed rooms with comfortable beds, lovely large bathrooms with very white towels. The breakfast was an excellent with a good choice of food and great coffee. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our car club group stayed for five nights the only issue was that we drank all their gin!

Great service! Staff is amazing, breakfast is delicious with an inside garden. Loved the location, close to downtown and the rooms are spacious. We left this place willing to stay more. We fell in love with this city and would definitely come back!

Stayed in this hotel for one night and it was an excellent choice. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient. The beds were very good and we all slept very well. The bathroom was a good size and the bath and shower really good. It was a short walk into the centre of town and then to the harbour area. Parking was next door and was an extra 9 euros per night, which was well worth it. Our room was in the older part of the hotel, but had a lot of character. Would stay again if visiting this area.

We stayed for three nights. The room was beautiful and very spacious. Decorated in period style and elegant. The reception rooms were similarly decorated, all in keeping with the historic building. The garden is beautiful and is the old walled garden from when the building was a convent. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Delightful and helpful reception staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms are large with high ceilings and have air conditioning. There are coffee making facilities in each room. Large bathrooms en suite, but if you are in the bath the positioning of the liquid soap is out of reach.
Unfortunately a couple of friends we unable to take possession of their room until 4.45 pm which is rather late, particularly after travelling 80 odd miles.
The garden is very attractive and at this time of the year the roses are in full bloom. There are tables outside the delightful breakfast room where one may also sit and eat outdoors. There is a good selection of fresh fruit, cheese, cereals, yoghurts and different types of bread available. There is also the possibility to have boiled eggs which you time yourself! And scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage.
This hotel is also close to the fruit, vegetable, fish and cheese market which is approximately 5 minutes walk away.
