Good place to stay 1 or 2 nights, for more I would find something with a bit bigger rooms. No airco, no fridge, no coffee/thea maker in room. Clean, good showers, good bed.
Location in the centre is perfect, parking in garage 1,50 euro a night (19:00 till 08:00) 5 minutes walk from hotel.

I stayed here for one evening in March.

This hotel is quite rustic and has traditional European charm and quirks. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s a clean, comfortable place to rest after a long day of sight-seeing.

The location is excellent as you’re within walking distance of the the downtown core.

One drawback is the hotel isn’t conducive to a great night’s sleep because you can hear everything— people walking up and down the stairs, conversations in the hallway, etc.

Breakfast offered a good selection for all.

PERFECT location to explore the city. Everything is within reach of a short walking trip, and you can see the castle and the walking street from the window. Middle price, but high standards. Very clean and modern rooms. No wall-to-wall carpets, thanks God! Nice bathroom, and a large room. I did not try the breakfast since I was visiting a local friend, but I saw the price was about 12€ for the buffet.

Basic accommodation but clean and tidy. Experience spoilt by having our bikes stolen whilst parked nearby as hotel has no secure parking. Area around hotel wasn't the best though close to city centre. Would recommend staying either at a hotel with secure parking or at the car ferry port rather than Caen itself. Wasn't impressed with the city at night.

Booked this last minute as our original was budget less some, This hotel is just off the main street, and withing minutes of the great Restaurant Quarter of Caen and also Minutes walk from the castle and amazing churches. Very clean receptionist was very helpful and her English was good. Rooms were clean spacious and even a Varanda which gave the impression of being much larger Don't be put off by being 3 stars I actually thin it only just misses a four star rating. Not Expensive and Ideal location.
Recommended and would use again.
