Although the hotel is tucked in back of a main street through Collioure, it is a gem with pool/patio, fountain and lovely reception area. We booked a room (#235) which was VERY small, overlooked the drive, and had a toilet in a closet by the bed and the shower, sink at the other end of the room. Washing one's hands was a journey from toilet to sink. Not good. There is a cafe next door and they have trash removal from the back which was noisy at 6 a.m. Had we purchased a more expensive room I am sure that the hotel would be worth a 3 night stay. We wandered the streets filledwith vendors and restaurants, cafes, very easy walk and Le Petit Train is right across from the hotel. There is a street market close by which has food and crafts as well. The staff was most welcoming. Parking (17 euros) is recommended for the hotel's lot which requires key codes to enter and exit. They will email you the code in advance, Our GPS did not take us to the hotel, so check directions and/or map before you get to Collioure as it was quite busy and driving in town is not recommended.

Beautiful location - very convenient for town - rooms are pretty and the courtyard, fountain and pool are very relaxing for spending time in - What makes it unusual and strange - is that there is no restaurant for evening meals no bar - So in a strange way it reminded me off hostels when I went inter railing 30+ years ago - not the rooms and setting etc - but it’s the only quality hotel I’ve ever stayed in where every guest is sitting in the courtyard with their own wine - beer - etc and even bringing their own food in - there are lots of restaurants and bars in town - so you’ll be fine - and it makes pre dinner drinks a bargain - but still an unusual set up

Spent four days here, and loved every minute of it. Large comfortable bedroom, staff really friendly and helpful, lovely pool, handy parking and perfect location-bars, restaurants and the waterfront only a few minutes walk away. Grocery store and Doctor/pharmacy just round the corner from hotel if needed. I’d have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

Casa Paraïl is a wonderful find. A beautiful old Catalan mansion with garden and pool. Welcoming, clean, comfortable and astonishingly tranquil, given that it is only 30 metres or so from the bustling market place and harbour. Traditional bedroom, but spacious, very comfortable bed and air conditioning. Lovely breakfasts, taken in the shade of the old magnolia tree. Great value for money, given its location and peace. Can't wait to be back!

Stayed here with 2 children each year over the past 4 years, now aged 6 & 8 in one room. Lovely hotel with car parking, great room and a pool on your doorstep. The pool is small but well maintained and rarely more than a few people in it, so our kids loved it. A nice break from the sea and is always warm. Breakfast is expensive and never ate it here, places to eat for a few euros directly outside. Will be back.
