You can have meals in one of the many restaurants available from light fare to a full on dinner. Or coffee and pastries. Wine and cheese. Drinks. You name it, it’s all there.
Saturday’s feature a large (and crowded) Farmers Market. Featuring fresh local produce, cheeses, meats and flowers. Come early though as it’s all over by noon.
The locals take market shopping very seriously and everyone from singles, families and restaurant owners provision themselves for the week.
I bought the biggest sweetest water melon I have ever tasted there. It was worth every second of the agony my arms were feeling by time I got it to the car 30 minutes away!
Sitting in the square is something we enjoy a couple of times a week.
