Our guide was Naiomi. Not only was she an excellent food guide, but she provided us with great historical and local information about the area we were in. We were the only couple signed up for our food tour... giving us a private experience while visiting shops. The only downside was there was too much food for just the two/three of us to have. We ate as we went from shop to shop, spreading out our meals. We had croissants from the bakery. We tried our first oysters from the fish shop which we would not have tried on our own... found out we liked them. We had three types of cheese from the cheese shop which we at with warm bread from the bakery. We tried two types of pate from the meat shop, one of which was our choice. We split a bottle of wine from the wine shop, which we drank outside at a table/wine barrel while we watched the street traffic go by. We then stopped for crepes (our choice as to flavor). This was also the bathroom stop. We then took a walk to the top of the Latin quarter, taking a quick detour through one of the churches and got to hear a trio of women performing music choral music. She then walked us by the Parthenon and the major Paris university on the way down the hill to the Siene river, across from Norte -Dame cathedral. After refilling our water bottles in a park, we stopped as small patisserie for our final dessert. Time in all was 2.5 to 3 hours. Well worth the time and cost. Highly recommended.
