Description: Here, Alain Ducasse tells a personal and radical story, continuing the work he began twenty-five years ago. He represents the naturalness cuisine, inspired by the fish-vegetables-cereals trilogy, with the help of his chef Romain Meder. Healthier and more natural, more respectful of the Planet, it delivers a free and nearly instinctive interpretation of Haute Cuisine, revealing the produces’ original flavour, from the noble to the humble, all exceptional.

Beautiful space, the atmosphere is quiet but pleasant.

Food presentation is phenomenal, but come hungry as it just keeps going and you’ll want to taste it all! Enjoyed visiting a three Michelin star restaurant that is not focused on meat dishes. The mix of flavors and textures is very unique and delectable. This one is perfect for special events!

Have been to other French fine dining places, but this is my first time to a Michelin 3 star French dining in France. Luckily, the restaurant was able to show some differences.
From the greetings at the restaurant entrance to the desert served at the end of the meal, the restaurant, together with its staff, brought the dining experience to a level where you seemed to hear a middle-aged French lady whispering "Elegance is an attitude, I care about nothing else". With that said, the food and the price are a Michelin 3 star with no surprise. However, i don't think the chef was trying to surprise anyone with the dishes only, it is how they presented the food, the order they served the food, the ambiance, ect. that gave the customers a memorable tour.
It's like buying a pair of Sergio Rossi shoes in boutique stores vs. ordering them online. You get the shoes anyways, but you definitely have different emotions attached to them from the purchasing experience. And these emotions, you don't even want to explain to those who only focus on the shoes.

Jules Verne in Paris is a firm favourite of mine - amazing food with a great location. I therefore had very high hopes for Plaza Athenee.

First, the good: the dining room and service are amazing. The staff couldn't be more attentive.

Unfortunately the food wasn't to our taste....it felt like the restaurant had eschewed fab tasting, uncomplicated food for a philosophy that produced a menu that just didn't work for our party.

This was one of the most expensive dining experiences of my life and also one of the most disappointing.
