If you've never been to Paris then you might want to stay somewhere closer to the 1st. The hotel has been remodeled, but the rooms are tiny. The rooms are functional, but I couldn't imagine traveling here with a partner and even 1 child. There are some really good cafes and bistros nearby that you'd never try unless you were here or at the Le Meridian. The views are great.

Why all of the bad reviews? There are things that this hotel needs to fix: Check-in is way too long, the restaurant sucks so room service is a poor option, there wasn't an option for laundry. Also, the beds weren't great.

My husband and I are very loyal to the Hyatt group. That is going to change because I am so angry with the way we have been treated and it is utterly unacceptable that a HYATT would be so deceptive. Regency club suite tonight = £460. They evidently don't take their room descriptions seriously and as we checked in late have given us two adjoining rooms, room one is a small double room. Room two is an empty room with a plastic table and two chairs in it. HYATT; this does not constitute a suite and this is a gross misrepresentation of goods. I am disgusted that you would present this to anyone as such.

If you want a cheap small room then I'm sure this place represents some kind of value. If you want a suite be prepared to be ripped off and given a nice plastic table with two plastic rolling chair to sit at.

What a joke.

Dear Mrs. Solari,

Thank you for having taken the time to publish a review on your recent stay with us.
We regret that the Regency Suite did not meet your expectations. You considered the description of the Suite on the website misleading, hence this has been updated since to avoid such misunderstandings to re-occur.
Our staff has indeed tried to reach you during your stay but unfortunately in vain and we trust you did appreciate the fact that 50% of your two-nights stay has been offered in compensation of your disappointment.
We would like to reiterate our apologies and please be assured we pay all our attention to your feedback in order to improve our guests' experience at the hotel.
With best regards,
Michel Morauw

My wife and I spent a total of 7 nights over two stints at the Hyatt Etoile and had a good overall experience. We were greeted quickly and warmley by the bell service upon arrival. Our check in process was quick, efficient, and the individuals I interacted with were VERY friendly. Some of the nicest staff I've met for front desk check-in. We arrived about an hour early and a room was ready for us. We had a great view of the Eiffel Tower. The 2 rooms we stayed in were very clean and modern. They were on the small side but this was expected as I read previous reviews. The hospitality team did a wonderful job keeping our room clean each day. The concierge team assisted and provided great recommendations whenever we had questions. We bought coffee each day at the onsite market and enjoyed our interactions with the staff. We needed a wine opener on two occasions and the market and hospitality staff were quick to provide one. The hotel was a little ways from the main attractions but we expected this when booking and saved some money in comparison to hotels closer to the main attractions. The subway was close and taking 1 subway train got you to the main attractions quickly. We did not eat the the hotel restaurant so not sure about the food? We preferred to eat outside the hotel and explore the city. There were plenty of restaurant and market options in walking distance. My suggestions for review by hotel management are the air conditioning and elevators. The elevators took a very long time during busy morning and evening hours. It could feel a little warm in the rooms and there was no way to turn the AC lower. I ran in the gym one day and it was way too hot. Overall we would definitely stay at the hotel again. Thank You!

If you are looking for a hotel that is not outrageously priced compared to a lot in the area I would look here. It is conveniently located to a lot of restaurants in the area as well as a short walk to the arch and a mile from the Eiffel Tower. Both are nice walks with a lot of great sites to see and local culture as well. The staff is very friendly and speak English. The rooms are modern, decent in size, and most have a good view of the surrounding area.

We were on a cruise and our ship was going to be in Paris overnight. So we booked the Hyatt and stayed the two days in overnight and walked all around Paris. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel
