This was stunning in person. I've always loved Monet and I've never experienced his work like this. My only dislike was the massive crowds in this room and inconsiderate people posing for selfies in front of me. I wish there was a way they could filter in 50 people at a time to make the experience more enjoyable. However, I did enjoy the combo pass with musee d'orsay!

You are not rushed through the gallery and the presentation is spectacular. Plenty of spaces to sit and reflect.

The top floor of the Musée de l'Orangerie was built to Monet's specifications after his death to house his eight enormous Water Lilies paintings, and these two rooms are breathtaking. If you like Impressionists at all, do not miss this museum.
The lower floor has other Impressionists and some post-Impressionists and was well worth seeing too.

The museum is very small. The main unattraction is Monet's painting that go around the white-walled rooms. They are the most crowded too. It is hard to get the full experience with so many people in the way. But they are absolutely worth seeing.

If you like Monet this is a must visit. Unique art pieces and a very interesting mix of artists. Try to avoid pick time if you can.
