"Coup-sur-coup" was the leftist film that Marin Karmitz, the owner of MK2 theaters did when he was young and revolutionary; the documentary spoke in favor of the French working class. Now he is old and conservative and his main goal in life is to make more money. Maybe this is why his investments are so carefully planned. The example of that stingy attitude is that there is only one toilet (one for both women and men) for each cinema in the MK2 complex. Hard to understand but if you go to MK2, make sure to look for a public bathroom before getting inside.
