Booked a Junior Deluxe Room because we needed an extra room for our 15 month old baby. I must say we had a rough check-in experience (because one staff said our room was ready but in reality, it was not and we didn't check in till a lot later). However, despite the initial experience, the staff members were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
I noticed a lot of poor comments about this hotel came during the pre-renovation days. I must say the rooms are definitely upgraded. The elevator really needs an upgrade though as we would wait forever just for it to arrive on our floor.
I initially wanted to stay close to Eiffel Tower to reduce commute and be a part of the Parisian culture. Being a tourist, that's a natural decision, right?
I'm so glad we stayed in this area. We were so close to the metro, delicious pastries were everywhere, the farmers market was right around the corner of our hotel, the restaurants were phenomenal, the beautiful Jardines de Luxemburgo was a 15 minute walk, and we were in the center of la creperies! It was perfect for us especially when you have a family!More
