The cafe sits on the pedestrian street of Rue Cler. The staff speaks English and is very helpful. The food was reasonably priced and was simple and good. It gives you the experience of sitting at a Parisian cafe watching the people walk by.

Best omelette that I had in Paris, light & fluffy. Omelette served With delicious baguette. Sat outside to people watch and was not rushed.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to the Eiffel Tower after a recommendation in the Guardian newspaper and we were very impressed. We both ordered the steak frites, which arrived promptly, and we even stayed for coffee. The food was well-priced, the atmosphere intimate, and we felt right at home. Highly recommended.

We were on our way to the Invalides for a concert and wanted somewhere for a light sit down meal as we had had a 3 course lunch. This was ideal . We each had an omelette , and chose two fillings from a choice of ham, cheese, spring onions or mushrooms. One of us had a citron presse and the other an orange presse , and one of us had an ice cream. Service was quick and food was good but reasonably priced. There are not many restaurants nearby.

We stopped for a late lunch and had no trouble getting a table outside on a Wednesday afternoon.
My wife had the grilled goats cheese while I chose the beef tartar. Both meals were to our liking, quite large portions and very reasonably priced. A bottle of rose complimented the food to our liking.
Service was prompt and friendly and the menu was also available in English language.
