It is a street with some market stands. It was sunday by the end of the day and some shops were closed. It is a nice market street with cafes , shops and restaurants. Not a touristic area. The church, Saint Medard is also nice to stop and take a look.

A relatively short stretch of street where you have fresh produces like vegetable, fruits, meats cured or raw, to fresh breads n desserts!
Always love the atmosphere there and my fave tart shop resides within the street!

Great market with all kinds of veges and lots of meats. Not too much fowl or fish and prices are fairly high. Most interesting thing that I say were the cepes (see photo).

We enjoyed our stroll around this steet market with its wide variety of offerings. Definitely a must for visitors to Paris to appreciate the flavour of the local market.

We were fortunately located 12 minutes-walk from the Mouffetard Market. Excited to check out our first destination in Paris !

We arrived in Paris in the late afternoon, after a 6 hour layover in Zurich. We took a taxi from Charles de Gaule airport to our friend's apartment, conveniently located in the 13th arrondissement. Our friend Gilles told us about the Mouffetard Market, so we decided to give it a shot and buy some snacks for dinner. The market is located in cute street with beautifully decorated stores that feels like a French Style.

The market is quite small, but you will find everything you need, tasty local cheese, the famous and delicious French baguettes, fruits, wine, etc. The quality of the food was great, but it wasn't the cheapest. This said, you might want to visit for the ambiance.

Consider visiting the market to purchase some groceries or to find yourself a cute restaurant or cafe for lunch or dinner.
