If there is only one last place in Paris which keeps its traditionality in Paris, it's the 7th arrondissement.

As you come over the Pont de Alexandre into Invalides you are in the 7th Arrondissement. This arrondisement is big skirting the Seine from near the Louvre along to The Eiffel Tower. Of course near the Eiffel Tower is the Champ De Mars. Due to its strategic area along the Seine, it is home to museums, universities and hotels. Not sure what the street scene is like, but it seems to be an energetic area. There are metro stops and RER train stops here also. I prefer the West Bank, but again everyone as their own preferences.

I associate the 7th Arrondissement with the Invalides area as it contains the Esplanade Des Invalides and the Dome Des Invalides and amuse de l’Armee.

Ita great area to walk around and see the tourist hot spots and felt very safe too.

It would be easy to spend a couple of days in the area.

One of the best districts in Paris. Expensive, beautiful and full of history. Worth visiting many times
