We went on the free Montemarte walking tour while we were visiting Paris and had a wonderful time! Our guide Patrick lived his whole life in Paris and knew so much about the city. This particular neighborhood has a very interesting history and we loved hearing all of the guide’s insights and stories about the different sights on the tour! The nearly two hour tour covered a lot of ground and we really learned a lot. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who would like to learn a bit more about this unique neighborhood in Paris.

These tours really go into the history of the city, and the guides are happy to respond to any of your questions. We did three tours - my favourite was landmarks of Paris and my wife's favourite was Montmartre. Though St. Germain and the River was very good too - and only four guests, while the other tours had like 20. I'm thankful they had those pink vests to spot them as the tours start in crazy crowded areas. Highly recommended! No need to book in advance unless you have a large group (8+).

I enjoyed a wonderful tour of Montmartre with Josquin. He was funny and informative, slipping in personal stories from his time living in Montmartre. I learned a lot on the tour, and the area was beautiful. The tour covers a lot of ground, so wear good walking shoes and take water. I would highly recommend this tour.

We joined two Free walking tours: 1) Paris landmarks and 2) Montmartre. Both were very informative and well explained even both tour guides are students. We were glad to pay the recommended tips to support the locals. In both tours, we love listening to the side stories Like Coco Chanel in Ritz hotel; little rats in Opera House performance; Picasso and Van Gogh in Montmartre. Our guide even performed Dalida's song when he told us the famous singer's sad stories. We will definitely explore other Free walking tours in other cities & countries
