Lovely old style hotel. Staff went out of their way to help us. Very central. Able to access old town and port with good fish Restarant's on latter. Rooms very clean and quiet.
We needed to cancel transport and book new transport and staff did all of this for us.

Staff is great and friendly. The hotel is just amazing: the old building is renewed and comfortable, rooms are small (at least our room) but well organized. Better the ones not on the street directly because with open windows there is a bit of noise, but the double glass keeps noises away if you close them. Clean and comfortable and in a perfect position to walk to the old port and the cittadella. Parking in the street can be free (right in front) or by payment from 8 to 18 (1 euro per hr is really cheap!). There is a nice little garden where to read or eat and a nice reading art gallery downstairs. The atmosphere is unique. Is not cheap, but not even too expensive. I guess for a little break before touring the island is really perfect. Really romantic :)

Room tip: Ask for rooms from the second floor and not on the main road.

Note: we arrived to Hotel Central around 11pm and departed by 8am so did not get full perspective of hotel or neighborhood/location. All was good/met our needs. Clean, good bathroom (looked new) and wifi. Nice cafe next door for coffee/croissants. Glad we did not drive to hotel as no street parking - all spaces taken. Maybe hotel can arrange parking for guests if needed? Gentleman at reception could not speak any English which made checking in longer than necessary. Although we did let the hotel know ahead of time we would be arriving around 11pm It still took him a few minutes to figure out who we were and find our reservation. Not a big deal, but not what you want to encounter after a day of travel. FYI- no elevator so had to lug suitcase up several narrow steep staircase floors. Unfortunately, we were not able to fall asleep until about 1-2am due to people socializing at a nearby outdoor bar. Other than these people the neighborhood was very quiet.

This was a nice small hotel with charming furnishing and ok breakfast. We were happy to stay only one night as the night was extremely hot - there was no airconditioning what so ever. Please check with hotel in advance if travelling during hot months. The location is perfect, just few minutes to the harbour and shops, parking also easy.

As a solo Traveller arriving & departing by train, a 10-15 minute walk from the station, this hotel was perfect. A small older hotel oozing charm whilst perfectly functional. A small lounge area in reception, a tiny breakfast area and very central location which was ideal as I was able to walk everywhere from the Front Door. The bedroom was comfortable & clean. A great choice of restaurants nearby. Would stay again. No lift but did not expect one.

Room tip: A view of the Street may be preferable.
