We're here for two nights as our annual meeting of our thirty plus French friends get-together. There were about twenty of us as some were observing the Jewish Holy days. In spite of that we literally took over the hotel. There were a few bumps about WiFi, however that got straightened out. We had scheduled two dinners and two breakfasts previously. Friday night's dinner was fish served quite nicely as almost everyone got served within a reasonable time from first to last. They have a great working dumbwaiter that helped speed the serving. The staff was quite attentive and no one lacked for wine or food. Friday night it was fish and meat (rabbit) on Saturday night. Breakfast was more or less the standard fare of breads, some deli meats and cheeses. The real surprise here is the grounds around the hotel. They are fabulous. The staff is really helpful and are willing to give local knowledge and directions. The only negative, if you can call it that, is be careful pulling into the parking area. The entrance could be a little wider. Other than that, this is a place you enjoy staying at.

Room tip: Luckily their drapes do cover the windows quite well if you don't want light awakening you in the morning.

A perfect place to relax after a day sightseeing in the beautiful area. I recommend the swimming pool. The building is a particularly interesting conversion of stone and wood. There is a calm atmosphere.

The hotel is difficult to find when arriving by car during nighttime - the entrance is not safely indicated.
The staff there is really welcoming and nice. I really liked the receptionist's assistance for any of our queries.
The room and bathroom could have been cleaner though. This was not dirty but not very clean either. The configuration of the Bathroom was really badly designed - although it is due to the compliance with the disability requirements, there is stagnant water on the whole floor of the bathroom, whenever you decide to take a shower. It is really annoying.
The breakfast was very good but the buffet is located in a not-convenient place in the room. As a result, you cannot really be several people serving themselves at the same time.
Finally, the restaurant is not opened on Sundays nights, which is not convenient given that the hotel is outside central Quimper and that most of the Quimper central restaurants are closed on that night anyway. The hotel should at least be serving some snacks/bar menu with basic dishes on a night like the Sunday ones.
The global feeling is that it is a good hotel but it is not worth the price paid - for the above reasons.

Forget about hotel star rating, if you want a hotel that isn't a run of the mill type, Le Manor is for you. We have just spent 4 nights there with our 2 friends who live in France.
We were all upgraded to very large bedrooms, uniquely furnished with adjacent modern ensuite bathrooms. ( A large bath was also in the corner of the room).
The hotel is set in extensive grounds and is very peaceful to return to after a day playing tourists. It is only 5 minutes in the car from the centre of Quimper. Lots of restaurants there so we never bothered to have an evening meal in the hotel. We had breakfast on the day we left and although not luxuriant, there was plenty of choice, but as with most hotels, it is quite expensive. I think it was 14e each.
Very much liked the hotel. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Only one complaint, the bedroom lighting was too dark and it made reading a book at nighttime quite difficult. Other than that, we had a great time.

Room tip: Worth having the larger rooms. We had one on the corner of the ground floor at the front of the hotel. It has its own patio area.

A lovely building but residents are put in a hastily and poorly designed extension at the rear of the house. No atmosphere badly designed and finished bathroom and grim restaurant surroundings. Very disappointing and not worth its price or rating.

Room tip: Go elsewhere.
