This house is impressive in size and the location is very convenient. The bedrooms are located on the ground and second floors however we did find the lower bedrooms to have a slight damp feel to them. The Kitchen and Dining room are very sizeable and the lounge area has the bonus of English TV.
Off road parking is available but we chose to use the road outside the property as we has two vehicles with us. The road is very quiet with the exception of Market days (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). It is also a one way street.
The house is, as described, a five minute walk to the main market and a little further to Plage de l’Écluse. It is also equidistant to Plage du Prieuré and Saint Énogat albeit uphill on the way. We hardly used the cars whilst there, only on the occasions that took us out of Dinard. The Bakery at the end of the road is great, very inexpensive and full of temptation, surprisingly it is open for the majority of the day bar Wednesdays when it is only open in the mornings.
My only criticisms are that the garden could do with attention to make it more appealing to families with young children as there is no grassed area, the outside space has so much potential. There is no internet at the property which would be advantageous as mobile roaming reception in Dinard can be rather hit and miss and rather costly. The only other recommendation would be the addition of a more sizeable fridge or an additional freezer in order to cater/suit the number of people this house will accommodate. We found ourselves having to shop ever other day for perishables.
All in all our family (3 generations of) had a fabulous stay here.
