Friendly helpful reception staff.
Great end room with balcony (suspect its their best). Well appointed and spotless. Efficient aircon when windows closed at night. Minimal intrusive sound from square below ensured by quality double glazing. Decent bed.
Breakfast was just about adequate, very much help yourself, with minimal waiter assistance. Pretty basic ingredients....cold meats and cheese were pretty stale. Coffee, again help yourself, was from a pod machine and tolerable.
The property has been sold and the new owners from Toulouse take over at the end of the season with 'big plans' for the future. A certain air of uncertainty hangs over the staff.
I'd stay there again if we ever get to Biarritz in the future.
