It was cheap, clean, comfortable and did exactly what it should. The breakfast was basic but pleasant, the bed was fine (and without the awful waterproof mattress cover that some Ibis hotels are using that makes one sweat like a boil in the bag fish - bravo!) We parked our motorbike in the Carrefour/Ibis carpark and it cost 9 euros which was worth peace of mind. The old town and the Bourse were 15 minute's walk away across the wonderful bridge. If you can't walk that far, there was a convenient tram. Good value for money and we would use it again.

Stayed here for a 2 night stay with my family to explore Bordeaux. Easy to get to from the airport. We decided to to get bus and then the tram. Bus number 1+ and leave at Lycee Merignac and get the Tram to Stalingrad, its a 5 min walk from there.

Hotel is a standard basic Ibis Budget. I only ever saw 1 member of staff on duty so there was always a queue at reception.

Rooms are fine, very clean but tired. Fit for purpose for a city break where you spend hardly anytime in the room. The beds aren't particularly comfy and the pillows thin, but again it did the job.

The hotel was 5 mins from the river and about 15-20 mins walk to the historic city centre.

I think next time we would stay in a better hotel, however it did what we needed it to do. I will say thanks to the staff member who went and bought bug spray as our room had mosquitos in.

Also, there's a big supermarket behind the hotel, great for picnic stuff. There's a great boulangerie a few doors down which has some of the best croissants we've ever had. There's a few bike rental places on the streets nearby which are fun and worth doing, everyone seems to cycle I. Bordeaux!

We spent 4 nights here on a sight-seeing trip of Bordeaux. The hotel is very well located, a few minutes walk from a tramway stop and with restaurants nearby. Our room was spotlessly clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Parking is available in the underground car park next door.

Decent hotel for the price you are paying. Walking distance across bridge to city centre and other points of interest. Parking available near hotel. Carrefour supermarket is behind the hotel. Staff are friendly.

A nice hotel, just across Pont de pierre from city centre. Rooms clean and simple as to be expected from Ibis budget. Handy location right next door to Carrefour. Also close to tram stops at Stalingrad and Jardin Botanique for connections to Gare St Jean or further afield. Breakfast buffet simple but filling. I would definitely stay here again.
