Then maybe this hotel will work for you. I was very disappointed. The location is excellent and the staff were nice. The price was good. It has that going for it. The beds are clean. BUT, the walls in my room were dirty, the carpet was peeling off the wall, there were only two outlets - both in the same corner of the room, no elevator, 17 steps to each stair level, crowded (and I mean jammed) breakfast area, limited food at breakfast. It is basic. It worked for 2 nights but I wouldn't stay there again.

Nice hotel in the city center. Not new, but clean. Nice personal. If you want to stay central but not expensive, this hotel is good. Note that there is no lift. If you want a quieter room, then ask for a room overlooking the yard, not the street. Very positive experience.

Glad we were only staying in here overnight before travelling to UK. I wouldn't recommend this as a luxury place.

The bedroom is: Reasonably clean. Well priced considering its locations. Very basic. Right in heart of city.

Just be aware you cant park outside of it. Also we wanted to check out before reception opened in morning (7am) so we parked in a place called "Austerlitz" Parking. Only €4 from 8pm overnight.

Reception were very helpful.

But there was a musky smell in the room that wasn't pleasant.

This is a fairly basic hotel, but good value and in a wonderful location in the heart of Strasbourg. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was airy, with a view towards the river, and there was not too much street noise considering the location.

Breakfast is simple, and the breakfast area is quite small.

Secure bicycle storage is available within the hotel, though you'll need to carry your bike up a flight of stairs.

The only drawback was finding the Hotel in the first place. But having got there exactly what we were looking for. Ideal situation in the City. Close to the Cathedral, Shops and Restaurants. Our first visit and we found the small Train trip around the city ideal. This starts from the side of the Cathedral. The Hotel was good value and the site IDEAL.
