Once upon a time I came here all the time, but they are not always consistent, so i stopped going and then I see they have refurbished, they now have more seats. Its cleaner and brighter than it used to be, however the prices have gone up and the salad portion has gone down in size. They also dont like giving you free tap water which is a shame as I dont drink fizzy drinks and I find water helps you taste the flavors better.

When the guy who owns it cooks the double lamb kobeda its always juicy and hot, he does it really well and the bread is huge and fluffy and with the oil from the lamb its really excellent.

But its somehow not as good as it used to be and with so many places to try on this strip ...

Came here with my friends a few weeks ago on a recommendation from one of the said friends. The food appeared to be good. However, when eating it wasn't very tasty. The chicken didn't have much flavour and neither did the rice. The sauce had a hair in it. They don't take credit card either which means running down the road to a card machine which charges you to take money out. Limited English is spoken in the restaurant so you make your order by pointing at the picture or saying the number of it. I thought it was a joke. There are a lot better places on the Curry Mile which are worthy of your custom. The places like Al Safa are complacent that they will always receive business. This complacency is shown by their disregard towards food hygiene as well.

Just nipped in for a quick lunch. Had chicken kebab with rice salad and mint tea for £7. Was really nice - good to have the option of rice instead of pitta bread

Great food and so cheap. So delicious. Best kebabs plus grilled food in Manchester. The staff are very friendly to.

This place is a little run down as the seats are a bit worn out now. But the food is excellent, and the prices are really great value, the double lamb kobeda is a must try and its less than £6 with a salad. In the summer when its warm enough there is some outside seating.

If you go at the wrong time there can be several families eating so it can get noisy with children, but late at night its a great place to eat.
