This visit was a surprising treat. A guided tour around the house with a delightful, and very knowledgeable member of staff, revealing a most interesting history and story of restoration. The cafe served an excellent choice of good, wholesome food, and reasonable priced. The jewel in the grown, the stunningly beautiful gardens maintained by an excellent team of gardeners and volunteers This is by far the best of the English Heritage properties we have visited. Thank you and keep up the excellent work We will be back to explore those fab gardens.

Thank HCornell

We visited Brodsworth yesterday, arriving at 10am. Lovely position, lots of open space with parking close to visitor centre/shop. Gift shop well stocked and friendly welcome from staff. We booked a tour of house at 11am and decided to have refreshments first. Tea rooms set in buildings within house was welcoming, clean and staff very helpful. The house tour was marvellous, telling the story of the house and its previous occupants, it was informative, engaging and interesting. Our guide Leanne was very friendly and keen to tell the story. Due to other commitments we left after another cup of tea and having made some purchases in gift shop. We will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely morning.

Despite visiting many times we have never done a tour. Today we had a taster tour of the ground floor, our guide Mark was very informative, educational and funny. We learnt so much about the house and the family that when we walked around again it felt we were knew the family. The house is amazing and not fully restored which makes it feel more lived in. The gardens are as beautiful as ever.

We had a very good visit. The gardens have been well restored and there is a good set of signboards explaining their history and design. The house is excellent - being very much of one age, with original furniture and few alterations. The guides in the rooms were very helpful and informative. We had both lunch and tea in the cafe - a good selection of well prepared food

The gardens were especially lovely and very large with lots to explore, we were sadly a little early for the summer bedding but could see it planted up ready for a really gorgeous display (maybe best july/ august).
All in all we enjoyed our visit
