Perfect for a summer's day; we ate inside with the windows wide open, but there were adequate tables on the patio. The set menu was excellent - the red snapper, particularly flavoursome and everyone had the fruity pavlova for dessert . . . heaven! A great meal at a great price and accompanied by friendly, efficient service. Not our first visit, by any means - it's a restaurant we love to return to.

We visited the Orange Tree late April for our grandsons 14th Birthday. Firstly, we had to wait for our table which was booked well in advance. Secondly, one of the starters was very poor ,it was supposed to be fish cakes, when they came there were two, very small, hard and crusty and not at all appealing or tasty. The worst fish cakes i have ever encountered. Having a cheese problem in particular, (lactose allergy) I opted for a plain chicken and vegetable dish. The chicken was very dry and overcooked. The staff were run off there feet and therefore long waits if you needed them.
The menu was very off beat and and gave the impression the chef was trying to be just too clever and judging by most of our choices (there were 5 of us) was very ambitious in his choices and they did'nt come off. We were all very disappointed especially as it was a special occasion. Although we live overseas we visit the area frequently and have been to the Orange Tree before but this was not a success.

There were six of us dining on a Saturday evening. The surroundings are modern and clean. The restaurant was very busy and the service was still good. The food quality was good and very fresh. There is an outdoor area for when it is sunny which looked nice to sit and have a drink. I would visit again. We each had starters, a main course, coffees and drinks at £80 per couple.

This pub offers good food and drinks in pleasant surroundings. A great place to visit when the weather is good, as they have plenty of outside seating. It is a bit more expensive than other larger chains, however you are paying for quality and service.

Came here for fathers day. Lovely pub tucked away. Food was lovely, the surroundings were nice and comfortable. Nice relaxed meal. The staff were good and attentive and courteous. I enjoyed my fathers day treat, glad that my daughter recommended coming here. The food and drink were a little pricey but they were very nice. I will return
