A little difficult to find as it is tucked away. Stay was great, staff nice. Didn't eat or use the bar. Free wi fi is always a positive. It is literally 300 yards from Watford High Street station and shops.

We used this hotel as our daughter was attending a hockey training centre at one of the schools nearby. The parking was easy just £2 extra per night. Very friendly welcome at reception, clean rooms and bar area. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful and great value for money.

The hotel was a very good value for money. it was located in walking distance to the city centre, and train station, but not a very busy road. The room was absolutely clean and comfortable. But the best point was the very helpful and friendly staff.

Only there for one night, first surprise was having to pay to park your car on their car park to stay in their hotel!!. Hmm bit of a money maker there I think.
The hotel itself was clean and the room and bathroom were pretty much spotless. ( The outside however is looking grubby) the restaurant was ok, the menu in the room bore no resemblance to the one in the restaurant. Food was typical pub style grub.
And now for the FREE WiFi. It couldn't be any slower. Even the BBC news website (mobile version) stalled. It was the same at 02.35 and again at 05.30. so it couldn't be down to high usage. HOWEVER,of you would like to pay £5.00 for 24 hrs you can get a faster service, maybe they do the slow speed for a reason. . . .
