Wow what an amazing performance.
The theatre is very spacious and laid out well.
The only thing that lets it down is the massive queues to get a drink. They never have enough staff on duty and not all the bars open.

This is a review about the theatre and not what was showing.
Fantastic location near a number of great restaurants. Plenty of parking but disabled parking could be a lot better.

Seen a few shows here now and have always enjoyed the night out. Like most theatres drinks are a bit pricy but preordering drinks for the interval is worth it. The bar upstairs is usually a little less busy the the one downstairs.

The seats start to get a bit uncomfortable after a while but most do. The staff are really nice and helpful if you need anything.

Personally I prefer sitting higher up; the view of the stage is better from upstairs. Be careful if you get seats at the side, the near side of the stage is usually obscured.

My family attended Hairspray at the Milton Keynes Theatre. Seats (front row) were absolutely superb for comfort and legroom, and we really appreciated the pre-ordering service for ice creams. We had a very pleasant drink in the bar prior to the performance. The show was very professional, albeit lacking personalities in the performers. Lighting was absolutely stunning. The bit letdown was the sound. My children spent the whole performance with their fingers in their ears, and I am glad I took ear protectors. The sound was ridiculously loud - far louder than the sound system could cope with so it was really distorted with vocals difficult to hear. Whoever was responsible for sound should make a visit to the West End to see how to do their job properly.

A definite feel good show. Excellent performance by Ray Quinn and Bobby Crush. Well worth seeing. Nice theatre with helpful staff.

Just been to see the David Bowie experience. What a great tribute to one of our best loved icons. Was very unsure as I have been a fan for many years and seen David Bowie several times but it was a great 2 hours 20 minutes of nostalgia. The 8 piece band and singer were having a ball and were a joy to watch.Laurence has obviously studied Bowie and had all his quirky dances and mannerisms to a t and I was really impressed with Lidias bass playing well done all a fab night
