Had a walk through Crawley before attending a show at The Hawth. Found this nice little charming pub which was pretty busy. Caught our eye with the prosecco sign outside and my missus loves the stuff. I had a few local ales and we had a nice relaxing time prior to our show and the staff were really friendly.

we had all day breakfast each. Very nice, and very filling. Not cheap but good value for what you get, 2 sausages, 2 eggs, tomato, chips, baked beans, 2 rashers bacon, black pudding. Nice pubby atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Went here for dinner while staying at the nearby Ramada Hotel en route to Gatwick. It looked to be the best of the pubs near the hotel. Nice selection of beers and cider.
You have to go to the bar at the side to order food but there was quite a wait to get served. Ordered the fish & chips and havevto say it's the worst fish & chips I've had in a long time. Very greasy. Looks like it's been fried at too low a temperature soaked in grease. Such a shame as it's a nice looking pub

I'm only here to comment on the takeaway service delivered by Deliveroo but I felt like I had to say something.
I have had takeaway food twice from here and both times have been absolutely lovely.
The quality of the food is great and the portions are very generous. If the takeaway version is this good then the eat-in version must be just as good if not better.
The food arrives hot and excellently presented. The massive roast sandwich was a sight to behold and the sausages are a must-try. So tasty! The lamb burger and camembert starter both get a massive thumbs up too.

The bar is fine , good drink , nice staff and prices but what was odd is the outside beer tables where you are surrounded by local drunks playing ping pong ! Follow that with Asian gentlemen revving their Lamborghini aventador it is unusual to say the least but very entertaining.
