The town park is a excellent place to take kids you have wonderland where toddlers can wonder around and visit the nursery rhyme scenes like humpty dumpty, little red ridinhood and many many more. Then off to the main park where you will find play area for all ages spend the day and take a picnic with you
I try to avoid Telford town centre. I go there to try to buy items that only a shopping centre can provide. I did my retail piece amongst the many shoppers and then decided to visit the park. It was schools out time. Its a clean and simply a Great Park.
Toddlers to adults. A marvellous place. Must go there in the summer or even when the sun is shining and picnic by the lake.
Its a 5 star place. the park that is not the shopping centre
Ideal for the early morning workout, riding through the park you tend to forget that your in the middle of a vibrant town. The parks well kept winding pathways are ideal both for the cyclists & walkers alike. I love riding down the old railway cuttings towards Dawley & Madeley. The great thing is that it’s kept some of its landmarks along the way. Stunning views across the several lakes just makes it the perfect distraction to my somewhat strenuous rides!
Amazing park, something for all ages, from toddlers to older children, lovely water area if it’s sunny too.
Beautiful well kept and clean place plenty going on and plenty to do I imagine is amazing in the summer holidays really want to visit again. Close to shopping mall and eat places.
Was staying in Telford for 24 hours on the way to somewhere else and didn't really have high expectations. I looked for things to do and found the town park. It is an oasis at the heart of the town. There is a great variety of things to do for all ages and there are different parts to the part. There are play areas with play equipment, and also wilderness areas and numerous lakes. There is a visitor centre with friendly staff who are very helpful, there is a high ropes course and cycle hire. The play equipment for children is excellent and plenty of children were enjoying playing on it. I liked how the park encompassed its historic links with the brick works and brick works. Cycling round the park we were able to see some of these sights and also to visit the viewpoints where we could see for miles.
