always a great place to take the kids, cost effective and a variety of things to do. I would advise keeping an eye on them on the older sections of the park though.
If you have kids or like us grandchildren this is a great place to take them. The park is well set out and has areas for different age groups. Our grandchildren love it and when we take them back to their families they are normally cream crackered or hyper. Revenge is sweet.
We loved the water park and the different play areas it was clean. Could have do with information how the water can be switch back on
This one of Telfords best places to visit if you enjoy walking, cycling or need somewhere for the kids to let off steam. There are lots of kids play areas with various play equipment and the walks are all mostly flat with good paths. Early morning is best as its lovely and quite before the days hustle and bustle starts.
Saturday morning is the park run meaning it's slightly busier but only for an hour or so. Maps of the walks are available at the information centre by the cafe and cycle hire.
A lovely park for children and adults alike refreshments and bike hire really reasonably priced clean toilets and an informative visitor centre
Telford Town Park is a myriad of different things that can keep you there all day long. The park itself has a number of attractions such as a giant children's play area, giant outdoor games boards, cycling hire, a grassed arena that sometimes hosts well known artists, all day events and circus performances. There are all year round fair rides and amusements. Not forgetting the well known and excellent facilities at Wonderland, where children and (big kids) are transported to mystical adventures and forest walks where you can view the houses of Snow White and the Gingerbread man. Not forgetting all the other characters that live in the forest setting. Adjoining the park you will venture into Southwater. Here you dine in a multitude of establishments, such as 4 Seasons, Wildwood Kitchen, Nandos, TFI Friday, Bella Italia, Chimichanga, Novello's, etc. The list is growing all the time with more planned. There is a brand new multi screen cinema and information centre and library. Then a short walk into the now famous shopping mall to spend some 'Me Time', or just to browse the many shops. All in all, Telford Centre can easily occupy your whole day. A must try visit. Believe me, you'll be back
