My daughters booked us into Courtyard Cottage as a surprise joint birthday treat and what a brilliant treat it was.
The cottage is immaculate, beautifully decorated and furnished and very homely. The owners clearly take a lot of trouble in ensuring that their guests have a unique and enjoyable stay and have gone to a lot of trouble to make this a special experience.
Timble is a lovely little peaceful village within easy reach of most of North Yorkshires famous sights, towns and villages and is a perfect location from which to explore.
We highly recommend a stay at Timble Cottages ( Courtyard Cottage or The Dairy) and wished that our stay had been longer ......... Perhaps a bigger birthday might bring a longer stay ( fingers crossed).

We were a party of 2 couples so rented both The Courtyard & The Dairy cottages. They are immaculate and could not be faulted. As the 4 of us spent time together in The Courtyard! Dawn,, the owner suggested we move things around and use items from each cottage - we cooked several times & it had everything we needed. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning together with the views from The Dairy cottage whose garden was beautiful. I would highly recommend both cottages. We will be back!

Just returned from a 3 night stay in The Courtyard.We were greeted by the owner Dawn and she made us feel very welcome.The cottage is so comfy and very cosy,this place is immaculate and Dawn has thought of everything and if you need anything she's always on hand.We slept so well the bed was very comfy too.Timble is a lovely little village very quiet and peaceful and with Otley,Ilkley Harrogate and Skipton a short car ride away.We will defiantly be recommend this place to our friends.If your thinking about visiting you must.Will see you again Dawn and Barry.
We very much look forward to seeing you again sometime.

Courtyard Cottage is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. With its log burner and comfortable furnishings, my partner and I enjoyed a 4 night break away from it all.
The cottage is very well equipped and Dawn (the owner) was very helpful. We were delighted to be left a nice bottle of red wine which went down very well with our home cooked dinner!. The local pub is a minute's walk away and offers delicious food too.
The location at Timble is a perfect base for exploring all that Yorkshire has to offer and we visited Ilkley, Harrogate, Skipton, Grassington and Otley as well as strolling around the nearby reservoirs.
Highly recommended!
