“Cosy Cottage”
Reviewed 7 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

Great cottage and everything you need is there for you a real home from home.
Olga was a great host and made you feel very welcome; also during the booking process she was very good to deal with. Harrogate is lovely and the weather was exceptional and the bonus after all the walking we did was knowing that the cottage was awaiting us. Will definitely recommend and will be back again. Thanks for letting us stay in Stonefall Cottage, Bob & Chris 2nd to 5th July 2018.

Had a really lovely break at Stonefall Coachhouse. Spotlessly clean and well equipped Good location with easy access into Harrogate buses run every 20 minutes with good connections on buses or train to surrounding areas. Knaresborough and Ripon well worth a visit. We visited York on the train which was quick and easy A supermarket across the road was very handy Olga and Stan very friendly and welcoming. On hand should you need need them All in all a very nice short break and would definitely recommend Stonefall Gatehouse

“Holiday cottage”
Reviewed 19 June 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Three of us stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely looking cottage, had everything we needed for our stay and the owner even provided a pint of milk along with a selection of teabags, coffee, sugar and some short bread biscuits for good measure! Washing up liquid was there too with a new sponge and tea towels. Lots of lovely little touches which were great.
There are a couple of little downsides but I suppose it depends on the way you look at it. Firstly the cottage is on a busy main road which is fine as you can't hear any traffic but it was tricky to get out when you wanted to. There was also the issue of sharing the drive with the owners who happen to live next door, again not a problem in itself but there wasn't much room and lastly, again depending on your perspective, the beds were really hard and we didn't really get a good night's sleep whilst we were there. Overall a lovely little place and if you can get over the couple of little negative, you'll have a lovely time there.

Thank you for taking the time to review the cottage. As for the busy road and us living next door, this information is stated in our details and we do try to help solve any problems guests may have. As for the beds, it is very difficult to cater for every taste. I truly saddened to hear that the beds were not to your liking. Other guests have remarked on how comfortable they are. The beds do have firm mattresses with mattress pads in order to try and accommodate guests requirements.
