Lovely food, very tasty. Quick service and very cosy with the log fire. Recommend. In fact my husband said they were the best chips he’s ever had!

Brilliant place to eat all day. We were greeted and found a table on a busy Saturday night. The menu is very good, not expensive and the portions are enormous. First visit for us, but we will be back when in the area.

Came here for a family tea.
Lasagne was lumpy and tasted of nothing but herbs.
Nice surroundings but the staff were far too loud.
Young one behind bar (not 18 by the look of her) busy moaning about other staff. Older one singing and cackling at the top of her voice. All talking amongst themselves so loudly we couldn't have a decent conversation as couldn't hear each other.
We left quickly as felt quite uncomfortable.

We had a lovely meal here last night, there is an extensive menu , the food is really good home cooked food offering extremely good value. I had the Yorkshire Pudding with Cumberland Sausage, it came with loads of lovely Gravy and plenty of vegetables, spot on and only £8.95,
My Partner had Chilly Con Carney, she loved it. We will be back , soon I hope
