“Lovely stay!”

Stayed for a week to see the Hay festival and enjoy some hill walking. Lovely annex, very cosy, the owners had left ecclescakes and fresh milk which was much appreciated. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable recliners which were most appreciated after a day walking. Owners offered use of the garden which we didn't take them up on as we were out every day but was a nice offer.

Good location for walkers, great pub round the corner.

Highly recommended, we had a great time and would definitely stay again if in the area.

We were made very welcome.Welsh cakes, coffee and tea provided. Not easy to find with post code only. Wold be good to gI've road name. The scenery was beautiful and the accommodation good. Pubs, post office. Don't take a big care - roads are narrow...

“A FIVE STAR PROPERTY IN WALES”
Reviewed 1 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

To Joan and Des Preece: You are without a doubt the friendliest and accommodating hosts in Llangynidre, Wales. Your nicely furnished and spacious Cae y Rhedyn Annexe, the self catering Townhouse, offers splendid accommodations and great walking surroundings with views of the canal, river and mountain. My wife Mei-Hui Goette, an artist just as you, dear Joan Preece, and I were sad to leave after only five days which were so richly rewarded by you, the owners who made us feel truly at home away from home in a most relaxed setting. Thank you so much for everything. We hope to see you again next year.
V. Mark & Mei-Hui Goette

Hello Mark & Mei-Hui
It was a pleasure to have known you both if only for a short time. Loved the paintings by Mei-Hui and she must have an exhibition when back home!
Look after yourselves

“Cosy and comfortable”

Stayed here first week in August in order to visit the Eisteddfod in Abergavenny - and loved it! It's cosy, convenient and very comfortable, with 2 recliners & a sofa to relax upon after a busy day of walking & exploring the area. There are lovely walks, towns & attractions to visit - whatever the weather. Tretwr (Tretower) & Abergavenny's church and tithe barn are highly recommended.
