If you are staying at the Granville, Meager's Quay is just outside of the front door. It is a great place for a stroll anytime of day. The quay is right on the River Suir and you can watch boat traffic, window-shop, find food or ice cream and just people watch. The clock tower is located there also. Good from a stroll after dinner. Some interesting art along the way.

Right along the river in Waterford. Nice to walk along and enjoy the city. The clock tower is located here as well.

This area is right along the waterfront and has a few interesting features. There is a clock tower, with an interesting story behind it, a unique sculpture, a small covered area that looks like it is really on the bow of a tall ship, among other features. You can see the waterway as well as the traffic using it as you travel along this area. I'm not sure that I would go out of my way to specifically see this area, but if you are driving through town it is nice to look at.

The only way to see the tidal river, boat traffic, and the marina while looking across the car park to the riverfront shops. A good way to walked lunch or get ready for an ice cream cone.
