“Pleasant walk along the river front”
Review of Meagher's Quay

Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This is a good place to walk along the riverfront and take in the sights. Not sure why everyone talks about the clock tower, apart from it being a landmark that tells you where you are. Otherwise just another piece of Victoriana left over by the despicable English.

If you are staying at the Granville, Meager's Quay is just outside of the front door. It is a great place for a stroll anytime of day. The quay is right on the River Suir and you can watch boat traffic, window-shop, find food or ice cream and just people watch. The clock tower is located there also. Good from a stroll after dinner. Some interesting art along the way.

Right along the river in Waterford. Nice to walk along and enjoy the city. The clock tower is located here as well.

This area is right along the waterfront and has a few interesting features. There is a clock tower, with an interesting story behind it, a unique sculpture, a small covered area that looks like it is really on the bow of a tall ship, among other features. You can see the waterway as well as the traffic using it as you travel along this area. I'm not sure that I would go out of my way to specifically see this area, but if you are driving through town it is nice to look at.
