Stayed in this hotel recently and could not fault it. We arrived on a filthy winter;s evening and the big lobby was warm and inviting. Customer service was efficient and friendly and they had a lot of local knowledge which proved to be very helpful. Didn't get to use the leisure facilities but they looked good and I had heard good reports about them.
The rooms were well equipped and quite spacious.
Based on the activity in the lobby and bar that night, this hotel attracts business people, families and coupes. It is close to Sligo centre and has a good carpark.
While there wasn't a "Wow" factor, overall it was excellent value for money and an enjoyable stay.

We had a bad experience in a previous hotel in Sligo & we phoned Sligo park hotel, not only did they promptly get a room ready for us they left a complimentary bottle of wine in the room after our wasted trip to the other hotel. Reception staff were amazing bar & restaurant staff were also amazing. If you are going to stay here with a family there is an excellent film room where they were screening Frozen on the cinema screen for all the kids and big kids alike. Food was beautiful and rooms are gorgeous.

Couldn't fault this hotel from start to finish.

Staff are varied at this hotel. Check in wasn't the most pleasant experience and we were very disappointed with our rooms. I later rang reception and found a lovely cheery voice at the other end. She recommended places to eat and gave us a local insight which I love. Reception staff also helped us move rooms the following day for more privacy as we had been in an adjoining room with another couple, our friends. The room we moved to 111 was 100 times nicer. Comfier bed, better tv, modern décor, fresh and bright look. There is a major need for this hotel to finish remodelling the old rooms. I could not believe the difference. So thank you to that member of staff, a lovely blonde lady perhaps Rachel but unfortunately the name escaped me. Bar and Breakfast staff were lovely. Buffet breakfast was good, similar to most Irish hotels. They make omlette's and poached egg to order which is a good option. The reception and foyer is a great area. The couches are wonderful to lounge on. Taxis into city centre are reasonable. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: 111 was lovely. 116/118 were not!

Stayed here for New Years eve. Thought the reception area was very clean and even seen a man cleaning the doors as we arrived. I found the corridors going to my room quite smelly and had a strong smell of damp. It was unpleasant. The room we were given was quite dusty. I got the impression maybe it was an old unused room as we had a physical key. I noticed others had cards to get into their rooms. The room had a strong smell of aftershave which must have been there from the previous visitors. The staff at the leisure centre were really friendly and I couldn't fault the cleanliness of the pool and showers in particular.
At breakfast the next morning I found the greater to have quite an attitude problem. Almost as if he didn't want to be there. I found him quite ignorant in the way he communicated with us. Other than that there was no real issues with the staff in the hotel.
Would stay again but wouldn't pay over the odds to stay.

We took a Christmas package break at the hotel. The staff were excellent Rachel was fantastic at the reception, nothing was a problem, anything you asked from information about sligo to requesting a taxi. The food was first class the restaurant staff again were brilliant, Daragh served us. We wanted a relaxing break and got more than that. We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
