“Majestic,hospitable and relaxing”
Reviewed 12 October 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We had a great time.the houses are nicely laid out and you feel right at home.john and Mary made the family feel very welcome. We enjoyed the walks and the simplicity of nature. If you want a chilled out getaway this is the ideal getaway.looking forward to the next getaway.

“Great house in a great spot”
Reviewed 10 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

The house had everything you need, including dishwasher tablets! I could not believe it, the only thing we needed to bring was the food, the rest included in the house. It had all the commodities you can think of, including SKY Sports channel and have to say that we enjoyed not having mobile reception. It is nice to be isolated for a couple of days.

How easy was it to book the property? How helpful were the directions to the property?
How easy was key pickup/access to the property? Overall condition of the property

Liked best: All the commodities the house had
Liked least: No internet although it is not a big deal

“Mountain bike trip”
Reviewed 8 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

5 of us Stayed here in September for a weekend away mountain biking. These homes are run by John, they are well maintained and clean. John met us and we were greeted with a warm welcome and a bottle of wine. The homes are in a great location, actually in the forest. The mountain bike trail centre is about a mile away so best just to cycle up the road to get to it.

We had a great weekend and will definitely be back!
