Rock road house is a really lovely house in a great location. It's very handy to town, definitely within walking distance. The bedrooms are large and the kitchen/dining area is very well equipt and comfortable. If you are lucky enough to get good weather, there is a nice area outside for eating and relaxing. Only two minor points; the electric shower is so loud it will definitely wake everyone else in the house. The house is also quite hard to find as it down a little lane. We spent about 10 minutes driving up and down the road trying to find the street, a little sign would be very useful here. These are minor points though and I would definitely recommend it for two couples or a family.
A good place from which to explore Killarney National Park and the surrounding area. We visited without a car so used public transport and walked. It was only 5 minutes walk to the town and its restaurants, 10 minutes walk to the centre and 15 minutes walk to the bus station and cinema on the other side of the town.
The house was well-equipped and very clean and new and all rooms were very spacious. It was also a very quiet location with very little traffic noise. There was plenty of space for a car (though we didn't bring one with us).
The buses were good and we were able to get around Ireland, e.g. to Tralee, bus trips and to Cork and the airport easily.
The location of the home was close enough to walk to town and go for a run in the park. It is newly built behind established homes on the road. It was clean, with a nice kitchen. Not having wi-fi available, only wi-fi acces, if you went into town and paid, that was a surprise. It was deemed "wi-fi access" so it meant literally. We did not experience this with the other homes we rented in Ireland. I would recommend it for location, cleanliness, and comfortable for 4 people.
I stayed here for a couple of nights with my young family when we wanted to explore County Kerry. Unlike other comments, I actually found the house relatively easy to find. The instructions were clear about picking up the keys and we found the property without any fuss.
The property is a new build and we found it very comfortable while we were there. Our only concern, and this was relatively minor was that there was no where to hang up your towels. However, we recognised that as a new house it may still have a few bits and pieces needed to be put in.
As it was a short walk into Killarney centre, it was easy to wander into the main street for food but equally the kitchen has everything you need if you want to stay in and cook.
In summary, this is a great place to stay if you want a bit more space and away from the centre of Killarney.

Conveniently located but not so easy to find, hidden down a little laneway. If driving a bigger vehicle, take care - a bit tight! An easy ten minute walk to the pub scene, and close to the tourist roads out of town. Lots of room, good sized bedrooms and all very clean and new.
Handy to have the laundry available mid holiday.
We hardly used the kitchen at all but was well fitted out and adequate for 4 people.
