Description: he Harbourmaster is located in the heart of Dublin’s ever growing and bustling business district, the IFSC. Our fabulous former Dock Office / Harbourmaster house was first built in the 1830’s and later transformed into a pub and restaurant in the 2000’s. Both the bar and restaurant have undergone cutting edge design transformations in the last year and we continue with exciting developments, all to be revealed throughout 2018!! The Harbourmaster is renowned for it's delicious, great quality and reasonably priced food, which can be enjoyed in the stylish restaurant and newly renovated cocktail bar or in the Old-Style Main Bar which still retains its dock house character. With our classic function rooms, nooks and crannies, the Harbourmaster is the perfect setting for any occasion however large or small! No matter what your need, our friendly team of professionals are at your service!

This was a nice pub with good food and a cool interior. The upstairs was very hot but other than that I had a nice time.

Lovely staff with a quick enough service. I had the vegetarian korma with a side of chunky chips and onion rings. The main portions are huge but the side portions are fairly small. Nice place with good atmosphere. The quiet restaurant space is behind the bar which isn't immediately obvious but a very friendly member staff comes to help you quickly enough.

We called ahead and were told they might have to stick us near a bar, but the table was fine and the "bar" was not for active customers (they were only making drinks for dinner guests). This is a nice dinner stop with a fairly traditional menu that included chicken, fish, and a really cool thing called Steak On A Stone which my adult son ordered and arrived at the table sizzling and actually still cooking on the super hot stone slab. All of this was well prepared and satisfying -- and especially nice after a day of touring Belfast and then a long train ride down to Dublin.

There is some outdoor seating in the back, but that was apparently booked when we got there. I think they may also some additional seating outdoors and upstairs, but I think there was a private party going on up there.

The restaurant is actually only a couple blocks from the train station and is also only a five minute or so walk from the Hilton Garden Inn Custom House where we were staying. So, convenient! It was also a nicer alternative to the string of kind of young, noisy, beer places with outdoor seating that are located just down the quay.

Its a nice area to walk around before and after dinner, too, with some cobblestone and that lively bar scene which was vibrant and fun to witness even if we didn't feel like sitting down in the middle of it. This is a nice spot if you're looking for an early dinner and you're staying nearby, or attending some of the nearby theaters. The place did kind of empty out early, perhaps because there was theater crowd there that night.

We visited the Harbourmaster yesterday for lunch. We were tired and hot after traipsing around Dublin for work. The lady who served us was absolutely brilliant. She was so pleasant and kind, nothing was too much trouble for her.
The service was so quick and the quality of the food was superb. I really couldn’t believe how reasonable it was when we went to pay.
Just a really pleasant and positive experience from start to finish.
