“Nice street if looking to do some shopping”
Review of Nassau Street

Reviewed 24 September 2017

Wanted to do some shopping in Dublin. Went down Nassau street. Many stores and shops. We were a bit disappointed as many shops weren't open. On our visit most Dubliners were pleasant and kind to us. You can also find places to eat & drink along the way.

Nassau Street is a busy, vibrant street running from the top of Grafton Street along the side of Trinity College.
It has some nice shops, cafes and bars and some beautiful architecture but it's nothing especially worthy of too many superlatives.
Lots of buses as there is a line of stops by Trinity College so peace and quiet is not really a thing here!
A nice street to walk along but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

We have been in this place for lunch one hour ago. The girl at counter was very unfriendly, she didn't greet us, she was pissed off and she just slammed the food on the bread. She was very annoying! I suggest to avoid this place!!

Nassau Street is not like Dawson Street for me. It has less shops and less places to eat. However, you can buy stationery for college, you can try Irish cookies and you can have a look at some Aran sweaters. With the LUAS works, it is a bit jammed, but, overall, it is worthy a visit.
