Owner description: Since John Jameson's brave first steps into this building in 1780, we've been focused on his ambition to create unforgettable experiences (along with great whiskey, of course). The new look Jameson Distillery Bow St. carries on this ambition through five fully guided experiences: Bow St. Experience Distillery Tour, Premium Whiskey Tasting, Whiskey Blending Class, Whiskey Cocktail Making Class, and a Cask Draw Experience in Dublin's only Live Maturation Warehouse - all of which have a firm focus on immersive storytelling. You'll be invited to touch, smell, and most importantly, taste Jameson in the original Bow St. Distillery buildings. The only way to get closer to the source would be to have John Jameson guide you through the distillery himself.
Useful Information: Bathroom facilities, Lockers / storage, Wheelchair access

We were expecting to actually see how the whiskey is made rather than being talked through it with graphics and interactions but we still had fun.
Our tour guide (Janet I think her name was) was great. Very friend,y and very informative.
We enjoyed the free cocktail after the tour in their bar as well

Hey Vanessa C, thanks for taking the time to leave your review. Great to hear you had fun on your visit to Bow St. You;re right in that our production now takes place in Midleton Cork today but Bow St. is where it all began for John Jameson back in 1780 - the birthplace if you will. We hope you can come back and visit us again soon or pop down to Midleton to visit the distillery there. Thanks, Jameson Distillery Bow St. Team

Went here on Sunday at 12:15 for the guided tour. Pre-booked online(advisable), the tour guide Eoin had a great sense of humour and knowledge of the Jameson brand. Was about 40-45 mins in total and being a whiskey drinker I found it really interesting to learn the history of one of my favourite brands plus the methods of production. Of course the free tipple at the grog bar at the end of your tour is great. My wife and mum discovered a newfound taste for Jameson & ginger ale with a slice of lime, whereas my father & I had the more traditional straight with a thimble of water to open it. Hit the spot!! Well worth a try if you’re in Dublin for a city break. Great spot. The Jameson gift shop has some great treats for sale too.

I must say that we had a great afternoon tour of the Jameson Distillery in Bow St . Quite expensive but still worth the visit Towards the end of our tour we visited the shop which sells nearly all expressions of whiskey from the Irish Distillers group, including the new personalised Jameson Distillery Edition that cannot be found anywhere else and a Black Barrel Cask Strength that you can bottle straight from the cask.

I took a tour and learned alot about the history of Jameson. I know they dont use that facility any longer for actual production but wish they had equipment and could show the process of distillation. The tour was educational and interactive and there was a tasting at the end. It is definitely worth doing especially if you are a whiskey enthusiast.
