We needed a rental house for a weekend break and found this house on Trip Adviser. I fell in love with the place immediately from the photos and the reality of the house did not disappoint either.
The Coastguard Station Cottage has been faithfully restored with care and detail and the art work within the house is eclectic and a perfect compliment to it's surroundings. There is everything you would possibly want from a rental property.
Situated within easy access to Dublin City Centre with easy access routes via the Luas or the bus, it was the ideal location to return after a heavy day of sightseeing/shopping/galleries/eating and drinking (and the open fire was a welcome sight too).
The helpfulness of everyone you meet (including the owner) will make you feel more than at home during your stay.

This lovely, restored flat in an historic building was a haven during our stay in Dublin. We walked to it from Busares (the main bus station,) and it is easily accessible via cab and Aircoach from the airport. Each day we walked to the bus stop (about 10 min) to take the bus to the center of town for seeing all the sights (Trinity, St. Patricks, Guinness, Jameson, museums). Each evening we came back to complete comfort with room to spread out (2 bedrooms upstairs and a charming kitchen, dining, living area downstairs). It has all the conveniences: washer/dryer, dishwasher, cable, internet. The owner was exceptionally easy to work with and very helpful. I highly recommend this home for your stay in Dublin.
