First of all, if you like us like to live in a authentic environment, in a part of a town where you get away from the crowds but are minutes away from the action - this is a perfect place! Lovely little cottage, warm and cosy, with everything you need from nice beds to fluffy towels. We would definitely stay when we return and Sean, the very nice owner, met up at the house and came back to say goodbye as we were about to leave. In warmer seasons there is even a sweet little patio at the back where you can sit. We loved the place and it met up to all our expections - my teenage girls think it is much more fun to stay in "real" places than in an anynomous hotel and I totally agree! This cottage is one of those places which add value to your stay - we'll be back!

“Fantastic location and great assistance from owner”

Cottage was very cosy and ideal for a short stay. We liked the quiet location even though we were in the centre of the city, with easy access to all sights and pubs. Best of all was the way Sean made us feel welcome and provided lots of information about seeing and getting around Dublin.

“A charming little cottage in the city center, a great place to explore Dublin!”

The rental property is a tiny little cottage, tucked of a side street in the middle of Dublin. The original structure is almost 100 years old and has been lovingly renovated over the years, giving it a charming and homey feel.

Sean, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us good tips on where to go and what to see.

All in all, it was a great experience and I would fully recommend it!!!!

“Delightful and Charming”

We stayed here for the month of August and could not have picked a more central location to explore Dublin. Sean is a wonderful host who is very informative about the city. He specializies in genealogy, and if you are searching for your roots he is an excellent person to assist you in your quest. The cottage is very comfortable for 2-3 persons and is equipped with everything you need during your stay. One charming aspect of the rental were the neighbors, they were wonderful.

Moffatt Cottage was as charming as its owner.
Everything you needed and so close to everything.
Terrific base for exploring with all attractions within walking distance. Even for me!!
Nothing too much trouble for Sean who helped with anything we asked.
It's the only bed that I've slept in as comfortable as our own!
Would recommend and certainly return there ourselves.
