Owner description: GUINNESS STOREHOUSE(R), Ireland's No. 1 visitor attraction is a "must see" on any visit to Dublin. Housed in an old fermentation plant in the heart of St James's Gate Brewery, the now seven-storey visitor experience tells the story of Ireland's iconic drink and beings to life the heritage of this world famous beer. Your journey begins standing at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass, which rises through the building. It is a dramatic story that begins over 250 years ago and ends in Gravity(R) Bar, Dublin's highest bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of GUINNESS(R) while enjoying spectacular views over Dublin.
Useful Information: Baby buggy parking, Stairs / lift, Wheelchair access, Bathroom facilities

The tour isn’t bad if your alone but avoid if your with anyone in a wheelchair or stroller. The elevators get packed with everyone and now one respects the wheel chair or strollers. We couldn’t take the stairs so had to take the elevators and we would go 3-4 missed elevators as they were filled with people and we couldn’t get on. The elevators are extremely small and also don’t hit every level or it’s very confusing to. With a self guided tour you get lost. It was a waste of €28 with a kid as we couldn’t even go through it all. Very disappointing in a country that seems to really look after the elders, disabled and. We parents.

We had a guided tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the process and the history. Drank my first Guinness.

Obviously while in Dublin you’re going to have a pint and let’s be honest why not get it fresh from the source!!
Most definitely get the skip the line tickets, the crowd and lines can get crazy. We made the mistake of going on a Saturday, but it was worth it learning about the history behind Guinness! Great beer and good people make for a fun visit.

This is loud overcrowded and nothing but propaganda. You won’t see any brewing just displays about the history. I love beer and breweries and I couldn’t get out of this place fast enough.

Thanks for getting in touch. We’re disappointed to hear you didn’t fully enjoy your experience here at Guinness Storehouse. We are housed in an old fermentation plant, and all tours take place in our visitor centre. Unfortunately, there is no access to the working brewery. However, at the Storehouse we aim to take visitors on an unforgettable and a magical journey deep into the heart of the world-famous Guinness brand and company through videos, installations and interactive elements such as Guinness Academy and the Tasting Rooms. Your admission ticket gives you full access to all features within the Storehouse, as well as a pint of Guinness in Gravity Bar. Nonetheless, we appreciate your review, and take on board all customer feedback.

A pint at the Gravity Bar on the top floor is the perfect way to conclude this fun and educational tour to learn about the history of Guinness, learn the “secret sauce”, and its mark on the culture of Ireland. Get online tickets to skip the longer lines! The store itself is great but the Dublin airport carries many of the same items.
