We stayed at Trinity college for a night and had a good time walking around the campus. We took the campus tour which was excellent, and we enjoyed walking through the library, though the book of Kells exhibition was slightly overrated.

The tour is always enlightening and walking the grounds is a treat. I would do it on your own pace to see everything.

As an academic, I have been on numerous university campuses around the world. This storied, historic campus deserves a visit. Stroll around campus and see the old, classically constructed buildings that speak to the past, and the modern buildings that carry this great university into the future. It is also a peaceful retreat from the hubbub of the street. Perfect way to spend an hour. Note that the Book of Kells is here. If you wish to combine with a campus walk, give it at least three hours.

Lovely grounds. You can walk and sit outside for free. You need to pay to go inside. Would recommend visiting, next time I will go in

Really interested place. Recommend the audio tour to get the most out of it. If not, still a peaceful place to walk around. Go early to avoid the crowds.
