The River Lee has surprised us with their attention to detail and their hospitality. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and we were beyond happy 😀 To our surprise we got a wonderful room upgrade. Staff were polite, friendly and soo helpful. Food was just superb, there is a nice atmosphere for breakfast as well. We definitely made the right choice. Thank You River Lee,keep up the good work, we look forward to visit you again in future ❤️

We liked the hotel's attention to every small and big detail in the room designed to make the guest feel maximum comfort. This is the first hotel in Ireland, we give it a score of ten in each of the subjects and parameters. The hotel, its location, the attitude of the entire staff: the guy who helped us with the luggage, the maids, each and every one of the receptionists,
The service of each of the waitresses, everything was perfect.

We are regular summer visitors to the River Lee from Scotland and are drawn back year after year by our enjoyable memories from previous visits. This hotel delivers at every level. Central to the hotel's success is the positive team ethos exhibited by all hotel personnel. Well appointed comfortable rooms, restaurants serving excellent meals from Tapas to the full dining experience and relaxing public areas all add to the enjoyment. We would recommend the 5th floor rooms giving access to an Executive Lounge, where you can relax and enjoy complimentary non alcoholic drinks and various snacks, but high standards are evident throughout the hotel. Although we did not take advantage of them a spa, swimming pool and gym are also available. The River Lee Hotel has underground parking and is an excellent centre to explore Cork and its environs. Cork itself is an excellent shopping area and there are visitor attractions, theatres and cinemas catering for all tastes. Summer, jazz, film, music and other festivals take place in the Cork area throughout the year. Needless to say we are looking forward to a return to the River Lee next year.

For the price it really isn't so great. Broken coffee maker, bed gave me a back ache, they needed to chase me up to my room so I could pay my restaurant bill when I know I asked at the desk if they needed my card again after I booked online. Also, my room was still being made up after I got back from a walk after 3 pm. The restaurant was very good, but expensive for small plates. I'll stick to small, more personal hotels from now on.

We had a lovely stay at the River Lee Hotel. Location excellent and bar areas/restaurant spaces really impressive. Service was fantastic. Only downside is the room we stayed in didn't have a warm shower and door stuck against the out of level floor. Some finishing touches needed. I would definitely go back as long as I was guaranteed a warm shower
