Probably a lodge which answers the needs of commercial people who need a standard room for a short stay
The reception was really very poor and un professional
the room was standard without any charm
The breakfast room is looking like a scool cantine room.

Reasonable cost, staff very friendly and helpful if you request anything. A bit utilitarian as it's a lodge not a hotel but have everything you need except maybe a bar. But plenty of bars nearby. Can't comment on the breakfast as we were room only but two really nice places for breakfast about 5 mins walk away: liberty grill and spitjacks. Another positive is that they are situated across from the amazing paradiso restaurant which is one of the best veggie restaurants in Ireland! Overall more than adequate and great they have free parking in cork city centre

Room tip: Rooms at back probably quieter

Being a frequent visitor to Cork, this is my preferred hotel to stay in. The staff are some of the most courteous and helpful people I have come across. The rooms are spotless and well furnished. The location is ideal for the city centre....it's close enough to walk in yet far enough out so that you get peace and quiet. Waking up to the bells of St Finbarr's church on a Sunday morning is lovely

The spacious rooms and the comfortable beds. The breakfast varied and the service excellent. Although I have had problems with the economic transaction because they charged me sterling instead of euros. I liked the decoration and the cozy room very much.

Hotel was very nice and clean! Check in and check out were easy and quick. Location is great and within walking distance of many attractions in the city. I would definitely recommend Lancaster Lodge!!
