“One of the best”
Reviewed 21 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

From the moment you open the door to this lovely property you know you are in for a great holiday. Everything about it speaks quality and loving care, Steve & Kirsty should be very proud of the results of their hard work.

We have taken a February holiday in this area for many years, mainly staying in Aberfeldy, however when we saw Lettoch Beag appear on one of our internet searches it was a no brainer, we just had to have a weeks holiday there. Well we were not disappointed, Steve & Kirsty make you feel most welcome and there is very little that the property is lacking.

Lettoch Beag is set high upon the hillside looking down into the valley just north of Killicrankie and benefits from being south / west facing which means lots of sunshine to enjoy, which certainly helps in the middle of February. Not that the property is cold, far from it, Lettoch Beag has very effective underfloor heating and can even be topped up with a wonderful log burner if you want to add the romantic touch.

Beds are very large & very comfortable, kitchen is well equiped and a utility area that included 2 pairs of walking sticks which come in handy if you are feeling a little energetic and fancy a walk out of the back and further up the hillside which affords further fantastic views and healthy clean air.

All in all one of the best places you could possible stay,we are already looking forward to a return visit next year.

“Big and cosy and georgeous at the same time.”
Reviewed 5 February 2016 for a stay in January 2016

Situated with great views over the valley and no light pollution for gobsmacking star gazing. Spacious but at the same time feels warm, cosy and luxurious. Everything is really well thought out from places to put your walking boots to instructions and advice for everything. We loved the little reading room and I managed to lose about 3 hours in there which might be the point. Beds and bed linen were lovely and the log burner was brilliant. Would go back in a heartbeat.

“A touch of luxury in the Perthshire countryside.”
Reviewed 1 February 2016 for a stay in January 2016

If you are looking for peace, quiet and tranquillity in the heart of rural Perthshire, then look no further than Lettoch Beag. This tastefully converted home-from-home is located high on a south-facing hillside overlooking Glen Garry and the Pass of Killiecrankie. Its elevated location offers stunning, dawn ‘til dusk panoramas over the surrounding countryside yet it is only a ten-minute drive from Pitlochry with all its shops, cafes and culture. Lettoch Beag offers a level of luxury seldom found in such a reasonably priced self-catering cottage. The luxury starts in the bedrooms which are generously-sized and feature zip-and-link beds to allow each room to be set up as a double or a twin to suit guest preference. The mattresses are very comfortable and the bed linen is high quality ensuring the best possible chance of a good night’s sleep. There are huge wardrobes and plentiful clothes hangers, so no excuses for piles of clothes on the floor! One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. The other bedroom makes use of the main bathroom just down the corridor. Water pressure is excellent so you really can luxuriate in the shower. The kitchen area is equally luxurious with ample cupboard space and a full suite of modern electrical appliances but the piece de resistance is the huge lounge (complete with grand piano). The lounge features double aspect floor-to-ceiling windows to make the most of the stunning scenery outside. We visited in January when the countryside was covered in snow but despite the cold outside, Lettoch Beag’s under-floor heating kept us snug and cosy while the log-burning stove added an extra touch of romance to the scene. Steve and Kirsty, the owners, gave us a very warm welcome on arrival and provided expert local knowledge on all the best places to visit, to eat and to shop. All in all, Lettoch Beag ranks up there among the best self-catering properties we have ever stayed in … and we have stayed in a lot.

“Perfection”
Reviewed 30 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

We had a wonderful Christmas break at Lettoch Beag. The cottage is perfect, everything you could wish for, lovely and cosy and fabulous views. It feels very comfortable and has been beautifully renovated.

The owners are very friendly and helpful (even delivering homemade Christmas cake on Christmas Day, which was yummy) but they still give you privacy and peace and quiet if required.

We would definitely recommend Lettoch Beag and will hopefully return soon.
