“Great Location”
Reviewed 14 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Lovely place.Everything you need and more under one roof. Rural location for peace and quite yet only 10-15 mins from Perth and Dundee. Lots of wildlife around the property and for bird watchers, a haven. Hosts were superb. Nothing too much trouble, not that we needed to!!
Loads of space in the great room, lawns to play on for the kids, Recommend??? Absolutely!!!
Would we go back? In a heartbeat.

“Quirky Country Escape”
Reviewed 5 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We stayed at Ladywell Doocot (as it's also known) in mid-July with two other couples as we were attending a friend's wedding nearby. It was a fantastic surprise made up of beautiful Scottish countryside, old fashioned decor and great facilities. The cottage has a large communal lounge, open to the rafters, complete with minstrel's gallery leading from one of the bedrooms and a cosy log fire (which we needed after a rainy few days). The bedrooms are all of a good size, although the upstairs twin had a bit of a bed surplus. Bathrooms and kitchen were all clean and easy to operate without needing any instructions. Plenty of room for storage as well as lots of utensils that you wouldn't normally expect to find in self catering accommodation.
A Scottish gem!!

We stayed here in April for a birthday celebrations, just can't say in words how fantastic this house was, we had the cottage and main house and both were just lovely, cosy and clean. The owners were more than polite, welcoming us personally then leaving us to enjoy our holiday. This is a special place and we hope to go back next year! Stay here if you can. ☺☺☺

“Fantastic house for families”
Reviewed 5 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Beautiful country house in a stunning location.

Very spacious drawing room and dining hall which coped well with eight exuberant children!
Bed linen was spotless and the house was warm and cosy.
The kitchen was well equipped with tins etc for the Aga.

The grounds were very much enjoyed by the children and the dog, whilst the private woodland (accessed through a gate from the rear garden) fuelled their imaginations!

We had a wonderful time; a real home from home!

Wonderful location situated in the Perthshire countryside. This is only a ten minute drive from Dundee but when you arrive it feels like you've been transported into the highlands of Scotland. The accommodation itself is beautifully presented and has a gorgeous open fire in the living room. It's very spacious, immaculately tidy and extremely well kept inside. Would highly recommend as there are very few places offer this level of peace and tranquility whilst being so close to the city.
