“Fantastic home from home stay”
Reviewed 4 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Booked the cottage for a trip away over New Year and for something different to do for my 9 year old birthday which is on New Years Day.
There was 4 adults and 3 children.
Welcomed on arrival by Carol who showed us around the cottage and had left some nice croissants etc and a tin of home baking which was enjoyed by everyone.
The Cottage itself is just amazing. I didnt want to leave. As we were there in the winter it was of course raining and very windy so we didnt really get the enjoy many walks etc but in the summer this would be fantastic.
Carol and JIm took the 2 older boys out with them to round up the sheep - they absolutely loved doing this.
we will definitely be back.
We loved the calmness of everything and the ability to just chill out with the kids which is what we were looking for.

“Great vaction rental in a great setting”
Reviewed 17 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

This was our last stop on our trip. It was one of the best places on our trip. It started when we showed up and had the owner show us her place. It was very well kept and in good order. That afternoon the owner came by with freshly baked date bread. it was quite good. It is a country setting but still close to town. We were able to see several sights around there. The Scone castle was well worth it. We spent a day in Edinburgh and seen the sights. I would stay here again.

“Oh, what a nice place.”
Reviewed 12 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Out of the way, quiet, modern, very clean, fairly close to town. The heating system utilizes ground heat, very gentle and comfortable. Country lane for walking. I liked everything at this place. It even had local telephone.

“Quiet retreat in the country and close to town.”
Reviewed 11 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Warm welcome by the owner complete with tea and cake.

The location is 5 minutes from town but is out in the countryside. The one thing that kept it from being a "5" is that the dryer turned out to be a clothes line. With 6 of us traveling together, we had clothes hanging on all of the clothes lines available. The beds were comfortable. There were 3 bedrooms, one upstairs with bathtub and shower, and two bedrooms downstairs, one with double bed, and one with two twin beds, and one shared shower for both.
